Literary Debut
As we wrack our brains here in the Clueless household to come up with interesting summer projects to keep the little genius busy, I have to admit that “writing a book” was entirely her idea. I think it is a pleasant, avant garde, impressionistic first offering that surely heralds a stellar future literary career.
Crafty Questioning
FF is getting crafty about introducing the epic “what do you want for dinner” question. He waits until I’m on a thoroughly unrelated mental track and then just sneaks it right into the conversation. He gets this amused, evil look in his eye when he successfully gives me a little brain train wreck.
For example:
- Just about to fall asleep for a rare afternoon nap together
- When I am about to leave for work in the morning
- After dinner (for the next day)
- Driving home from grocery shopping
- While cooking dinner
